Mailo (mailobot.online) is a WhatsApp-based email assistant that helps you manage your Gmail inbox directly from WhatsApp. Mailo is operated by Rahul Thete, an individual developer based in India.

2. What Data We Collect

WhatsApp phone number — to identify your account
Google OAuth tokens — to access your Gmail on your behalf (read-only + compose)
Email metadata — sender, subject, date (to show you summaries)
Usage data — number of emails processed per month (for plan limits)
Language preference — to reply in your preferred language

3. What We Do NOT Collect

We do NOT store the full body/content of your emails
We do NOT read emails you haven't asked us to process
We do NOT sell or share your data with any third party
We do NOT access any Google data beyond Gmail read and compose

4. How We Use Your Data

To fetch and summarize your important emails
To generate AI-powered reply drafts using your email context
To send emails on your behalf when you approve
To track your monthly usage for plan management

5. Third-Party Services

Google Gmail API — to access your inbox
Meta WhatsApp Cloud API — to send you messages
Groq / Google Gemini AI — to generate email summaries and drafts (only email metadata is shared, not full content)
MongoDB Atlas — to store your account data securely
Razorpay — to process payments

6. Data Security

All data is stored securely in encrypted MongoDB databases. OAuth tokens are stored encrypted and are never shared. You can disconnect your Gmail and delete all your data at any time by sending "disconnect" to the bot.

Disconnect Gmail anytime — send "disconnect" to the bot
Request full data deletion — email us at rahulthete074@gmail.com
Revoke Gmail access anytime from your Google Account settings

8. Children's Privacy

Mailo is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

We may update this policy. We will notify you via WhatsApp if any significant changes are made.

📋 By using Mailo, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By connecting your Gmail to Mailo or using our WhatsApp bot service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please disconnect your account immediately.

2. Description of Service

Mailo is a WhatsApp-based Gmail assistant that:

Reads your Gmail inbox and notifies you of important emails
Generates AI-powered reply drafts for your approval
Sends emails on your behalf only with your explicit approval
Helps you compose new emails through WhatsApp

3. User Responsibilities

You must own or have authorization to use the Gmail account you connect
You are responsible for all emails sent through Mailo with your approval
You must not use Mailo for spam, phishing, or any illegal activity
You must keep your WhatsApp account secure

4. Service Plans & Limits

Free Plan: 20 emails per month
Mailo Pro (₹199/month): 200 emails per month
Mailo Business (₹399/month): 500 emails per month

Usage resets on the 1st of every month. Unused emails do not carry over.

5. Prohibited Uses

Sending spam or bulk emails
Phishing or impersonating others
Any activity that violates Google's Terms of Service
Any illegal activity under Indian law

6. Limitation of Liability

Mailo is provided "as is." We are not responsible for:

Emails sent based on incorrect AI-generated drafts that you approved
Service interruptions due to WhatsApp, Google, or other third-party downtime
Any loss of data or business resulting from use of Mailo

7. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to Mailo if you violate these terms. You may disconnect at any time by sending "disconnect" to the bot.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Maharashtra, India.

Refund & Cancellation Policy

💚 We want you to be happy with Mailo. If something went wrong, we'll make it right.

1. Subscription Plans

Mailo offers monthly subscription plans (Mailo Pro at ₹199/month and Mailo Business at ₹399/month). All plans are billed monthly and renew automatically unless cancelled.

2. Refund Eligibility

Full Refund: If you were charged but the service was not activated within 24 hours — full refund, no questions asked
Full Refund: If you are a first-time paying user and request a refund within 7 days of purchase
Partial Refund: If there was a significant service outage (more than 48 hours) during your paid period — prorated refund for downtime days

3. Non-Refundable Cases

Refund requested after 7 days of purchase (for returning users)
If you have already used more than 50% of your monthly email quota
If your account was terminated due to violation of our Terms & Conditions

4. How to Request a Refund

Send an email to rahulthete074@gmail.com with:

Your WhatsApp number
Date of payment
Reason for refund

We will process your refund within 5-7 business days to your original payment method.

5. Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription anytime by contacting us at rahulthete074@gmail.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you will continue to have access until then.
